Due to 2019-nCoV, South Korea plans to invest $980 million in high-profile medical devices by 2025. The first online bio health worldwide online (BHWO), sponsored by the Ministry of trade, industry and energy of South Korea and co hosted by informa markets and KOTRA, officially opened from October 19 to 30, 2020.

As one of the most famous health activities in South Korea, BHWO has gathered more than 400 exhibitors, providing unprecedented opportunities for related trade partners in the whole industry and market to have direct contact with Korean health medicine market. South Korea is increasingly dependent on overseas pharmaceutical products. More than 74% of the pharmaceutical raw materials in South Korea depend on overseas supply, and about 50% of the vaccines are imported.

BHWO provides online exhibitions and virtual booths for leading Korean and international exhibitors, covering four key areas of the health industry: biology and pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and health care, health supplements, and infection control and prevention.
